Do I need an API key?

No. The API and MCP server are free and open with no key or sign-up. CORS is enabled, so you can call it from a browser.

How often is the data updated?

Every listing is rechecked monthly against the company's own published requirements. The updated field shows the last check.

Can I use it in a commercial app?

Yes. The data is CC BY 4.0: credit ClockInToday with a link to clockintoday.com.

Endpoints

Base URL https://clockintoday.com/api/v1/. Every response is JSON with license, attribution and updated fields.

GET /api/v1/platforms: every platform, with optional filters (below)
GET /api/v1/platforms/{slug}: one platform, e.g. /api/v1/platforms/doordash
GET /api/v1/categories: category ids, labels and counts
GET /api/v1/platforms.json: the full static file, for caching or bulk use
GET /api/v1/openapi.json: OpenAPI 3 description for code generators, Postman and API directories

Filters for /api/v1/platforms

Parameter	Values
`category`	One of the category ids, e.g. drive, shift, online, studies
`background_check`	yes, no or varies
`vehicle`	What you have: none (only apps that need no vehicle), bike, car or truck
`payout`	Exact payout label, e.g. Instant, Next day, Weekly; or fast for instant, every-3-hours and next-day pay
`max_age`	Only platforms whose published minimum age is at or below this number, e.g. 17
`worker_type`	Contractor, W-2, Participant and so on (case-insensitive match)
`q`	Free-text search across name and summary
`limit`	Maximum results (default all)

Category ids: drive, shift, task, care, online, cash, studies.

Full records also include minimum_age_text, pay_low/pay_high (numbers in the units of reported_pay), pay_source, details_confirmed, summary, website and sources (the pages each value came from).

Choose No sign-in, click Add, then Connect.
In a chat, open + → Connectors and make sure ClockInToday is on.

Works on every Claude plan, including Free (which allows one custom connector).

ChatGPT

Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
Back in Apps & Connectors, click Create.
Name: ClockInToday. URL: https://clockintoday.com/mcp. Authentication: None.
Start a new chat and ask your question.

Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan (Plus or higher). Menu names can change.

MCP server for AI assistants

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any client that supports the Model Context Protocol to https://clockintoday.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in). It is listed in the official MCP Registry as com.clockintoday/no-interview-jobs. Tools: search_platforms (same filters as the API), get_platform, list_categories and dataset_summary.
