Which gig apps let you cash out instantly for free?

Several offer free instant pay through their own debit card or account: DoorDash's Crimson account, the Uber Pro Card, Lyft Direct, Instacart's Shopper Rewards Card, Amazon Flex's debit card and Walmart Spark's OnePay. Moving money out of those cards to your own bank can carry its own fee.

How much does DoorDash Fast Pay cost?

$1.99 per transfer, once a day, according to DoorDash's help center. Dashers with a DoorDash Crimson account get paid after every dash with no transfer fee.

Is instant pay worth the fee?

A flat $1.99 on a $40 cash-out is about 5% of what you earned. If you can wait for the free weekly deposit, you keep it. If you cash out, do it less often with bigger amounts, or use the app's free card.
