Before you sign up for Mistplay.

  1. Never pay to join, and expect small amounts

    Legitimate survey and rewards sites are free. Most surveys pay cents to a few dollars, you often get screened out partway through, and you can only cash out after reaching a minimum balance. Use a separate email address for sign-ups, and don't share bank logins or your Social Security number to join.

  2. Have a bank account or debit card ready

    Platforms pay by direct deposit or to a debit card, and faster cash-out options usually need a debit card. Check the app's payout terms before your first cash-out, since instant transfers can carry a fee.
